REGATTA SITE: Lakeshore Louisiana pond. (Directions below) SCHEDULE:
ENTRY FEE: $35.00 RACING FORMAT: If more than 20 boats are registered, races will
be sailed in 2 heats. The Odd/Even
Scoring System will be used.
Competitors will be chosen randomly and assigned to A or B heat
for the
first race. The results of the first race will count
towards final scores. SCORING: The Regatta will be scored in accordance with the Low Point Scoring system as set forth in Appendix A of the Racing Rules of Sailing. For each 6 races scored, one worst score will be excluded from the overall score. SAILING INSTRUCTIONS: Will be emailed to all competitors upon request, and be available at registration. AWARDS: Prizes will be awarded to the top three finishers in the regatta FREQUENCIES: Frequencies will be assigned on a first come, first serve basis, so please register soon! RULES: Races are governed by the current International Sailing Federation (ISAF) Racing Rules of Sailing (RRS) as modified by Appendix E, the prescriptions of US Sailing when they apply, and the rules of the Victoria Class and the Sailing Instructions.
